$5 DIY BLANKET SCARF

I have a love/hate relationship with winter. I hate the fact that from November to April I am in a constant state of feeling frozen (thanks New England). I love the fact that it's an excuse to pile on as many layers as humanly possible. My favorite trend that has emerged in the past couple of years is the blanket scarf. I mean the name says it all: Blanket? Yes please. Blanket that I can throw around my neck and acceptably wear everywhere as a scarf? 100% yes. When I discovered that I could DIY these beauties for just $5, I was in heaven.
